ET15 is fine with an 8x18 rim and it won't eat bearings but I would not go lower for other reasons.

offset is very crucial to a cars set up and handeling.be it road,stage or track......

i couldn't agree more, but he was only asking

instead of being arsey, you could have just said ;

" in my experience you'd go through wheel bearings very quickly "

Tim - we're talking about a car that carries a family and gets cleaned at car shows from what I understand.

As long as it looks good, that'll be the priority for most people who don't use the car hard.

As usual Tim has had far too many drinks!! He cannot see past 909 numbers, 909 is king, don't make me fooking laugh ... I have used ET15 on track with slicks and have never done a wheel bearing, maybe I'm not trying hard enough Would I use ET15 for rallying ... no I would not but that was never on the cards was it?

why try to belittle folk once again martin?

altering the offset ony increases strain on the bearings,hence a proper group A car uses et33,not some bodged up crap on standard uprights using the wrong off set wheels!!

not trying hard enough eh,probly!!!like ive said in the past,rather than put down and try to make look stupid name the track and the day,lets call it a grudge match,but i will race you anywhere.even a track ive never been on,

ducks as he slags PF god off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

No but it gives wheel bearings a harder time than a std car with non 909 wheel offsets
