Default Nascar

Off to America 1st Sep to visit the girlfriends dad, he's out there working for Penske involved with the Nascar racing. He's hoping to be able to take us to the factory and possibly a race!

Dont no a lot about Nascar so was wondering if anybody could explain a bit about it?

I went on the tour of Daytona and even the GF wants to see a race now when we go back

Would love to be close to the fence when they are three wide trading paint at near 200

Big stand at Daytona seats 125K must be awesome atmosphere on race day ...

i think they still show it on channel5 late at night...

the tactics in the race are to stay on the lead lap until about 20 laps to go, then the race starts properly. alot depends on the style of track aswell, the super speedways are alot more tactical than say the 1/2mile ovals which are more frantic and rougher...

He mentioned speedway when talking to him at the weekend so that is probably what we are off to see.
