yeah i did a hpi check on it before i even left my front door and it was a cat c write off in 2005 and he said he owned it for 6 months and its current keeper had the car since june

With the exhaust he's got on and the induction kit i wouldn't of thought that would of taken it past 290-300max, you never know with them though, i remember speaking to Sheady about this and he said lots of the Evos that come/came into the country when dynod as standard made 300 or there abouts anyway, ( when supposedly they shoulde be 276)
My last evo 6 made 314bhp with only an exhaust and air filter on the dyno, FWIW

The 280ps Jap limit was (I believe) a legal requirement for manufacturers to stick below. That's why all the fast Jap cars quote 280ps as that's all they are aloud to say I heard a rumour this has been dropped now though?

Quite a few Jap cars exceed this 'limit' as std.

most evo,s come out of the factory with near 300 bhp, a mate of mine had his e3 rolling roaded with just a exhaust and filter plus normal boost thats 0.7 bar and made over 300 horses
