MY NEW ENGINE MONITOR
WHAT A TOP BIT OF KIT THIS IS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THIS IS THE PRO VERSION AND TELLS YOU JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING INC, RPM, BOOST, WATER TEMP, AIR TEMP, ALL SENSOR POSITIONS, OIL PRESSURE AND LAMBDA SITUATION, ALSO FAULT DIAGNOSTICS AND A FUNCTION TO ADJUST IGNITION AND FUEL RATES.
NOT SURE ABOUT THE SURROUND, THINK I MIGHT POWDER COAT IT BLACK.

HE WILL DO ONE FOR Ł400 IF MY NAME IS MENTIONED.

THE PRO VERSION LOOKS EXACTLY THE SAME BUT HAS THE EXTRA OPTION FOR THE FUEL AND AIR MAPPING.

The only noticeable difference is the lamda and adjusting of fuel and air.
everything else seems to be the same. does that pro version also control water injection?

mikelomax i think the surround needs to cover more of the monitor as it looks cheap and naff, especially the POWERCHIPS writing

Well, I've had both. I had one SECS monitor and it was fucked within a week - the digits disappeared and the screen went like a mobile phone screen when you press it with your finger.
I got another one, and it lost some of the digits, but I was dubious about the readings (water temp I think... this was in early 2002) - so used a Pectel monitor and found the readings were completely different (yes the Pectel monitor could have been wrong, but I know which one I'd trust!).
Just all my experiences.

I wasn't going to as far as I know the Pectel Monitor uses VDO 10bar pressure sensors but not confirmed but thats what Dennis Osbourne told me as his name flases up on the monitor when turned on
