I want to buy a new car at the end of the year and wanted to find out a bit more about 156 GTA's as they seem a lot of car for 10 grand, I have heard some reports of the issues I may face as a potential owner (mostly from EVO mag) but would welcome personal reports and any good websites, the Alfa Romeo owners club forum requires you to be a member at £35 just to access it, this seems a bit much considering I may not even get one
Your ownership stories on the GTA would be much appreciated

Money pit

Mate had one and nothing but hassle with it. Had problems with the electrics etc, but also needed new ECU

my mates got one, bought it last year, 27k miles, think he paid £12500 for it, he got a decent warenty package on top for it, other than rear pads, nothing else has been changed.

real funky momo leather interior, goes well 260 bhp i think, sounds well nice, well its 3.2L of italian metal
