Default Ahmed Bayjoo chip at Burton Power

Hi guys,

I just orderd the Fiesta RS Turbo Bayjoo Chip on the Burton Power website. There modelnumber is CHIPFRST.1

They call it a stage 1 plug in module. I told them I have an OFAB ecu and it was no problem. A plug in module sounded very easy, but im having a bit of doubt if the chip will fit my needs.

My car has a large front mount intercooler. A larger hybrid turbo. Kent 35 camshaft and beige injectors.

I would like to run 18 psi of boost.

Will this chip work for me?

As you have drastically changed the fuelling requirements, unless the chip has been written for that then NO it won't be good, you need it live mapped unless you can get a chip for the same mods that has been written by someone already.
Why not phone STU at MSD.

Darn, I was wondering about that.

They told me there is only 1 bajoo chip and it will work with my beige injectors (running 18psi).

I asked why they call it a stage 1 if there is only 1 kind of chip... there wasnt a clear anwser.

Beige injectors will struggle to do 18psi too i reckon...they will be maxed out.

Contact Motorsport Developments, i'm sure they can supply you with a proper chip that will work and make the car drive nicely, and be fast too.

I dont run 18 psi on mine.....when it works.

Whats the full spec? Or is that it?

You need to limit it to 15psi max i reckon, Bud-weis is right, you'll be pushing those Bieges pretty hard there.

block is rebuild
low compression 8.0:1
kent 35
large front mount intercooler
hybrid turbo .48
beige injectors

ok so I understand 18 psi is a lot, but can it handle 15 psi...

I really start having doubts about the burton power bajoo chip..
they just sell the chip as a standard product instead of asking about the car specifications..

No way will it be safe with a .48 T3.

BTW, this is NOT Ahmeds fault, his product is fine, when used within HIS guidlines, and i am absolutely certain this is outside them.
