i have run T1-S's and no worries but 3 bad reports from good years all with 'bubble's' out of the side wall...

i work for an independent tyre co.We just choose not to sell known shit. people that get bulged sidewalls normally bullshit about just smacking a kerb the night before, sidewall problems are pretty rare there days, i've seen maybe one in the the last year that was probably genuine failed.

If he wants cheap then they look ok in the beginning and then they are fucking bald in half the milage, then he pays again to get to the same miles as a dear tyre and hey look hes spent the same.

I had Avons on my sapph first - total shit, i'll never use them again.
then Yokos - great grip but I fooked them by running low pressure on the back

got Pirelli P7000 now and seem to be very good all round.

I phoned Dartford tyres yesterday but he said they don't stock them and he'd have to look into the price. That's why i asked.

Kwik fit are doing deal on continental spo's at moment, 4 for the price of 3. These any good?

Or Hi-Q can do me 4 goodyear f1's at £87 each.

what do you reckon??

i use falken ze51 or something out of choice, best value for money in my opinion, good in the dry good in the wet, dont wear out too quickly and at a reasonable price

are you sure ? i originally had falken ZE51 whatevers on my car (205/45/17) and the were HORIFFIC in the wet when i first changed just the front tyres for proxies i noticed a massive difference.. (the back would slip out like fuck in the wet! ) after swapping them round (ie front on back visa versa) 'just to see' then i would get massive understeer! hence my conclusion! toyos whip.
falkens do LAST FOREVER though! my g/f has done about 15000 miles on her 17s the back are like new but the fronts will need replacing soon!

Toyo Proxies all day - best all round tyre & cheap to boot!!!

I've tried Yokos & Falkens - good but wear out far tooo quickly, Avons are just appalling!!

I got mine from Camskill - cheap, good customer service & can order online!
