M8 is it a PRofec B-Spec II
of just the original B (which is like transparent blue colour)
original came in 2 sizes im sure one was a 2bar and the other a 2.5bar unit
The PRofec B-Spec II that i had was rated up to 37psi i think

There's nothing wrong with it. Why on earth do people think that by fitting a boost controller you can run up to the maximum boost whatever set-up you have? They are very good, but really only a glorified bleed-valve.

My Blitz SBC I-Color, which cost around £500 and is still only really as good as the Actuator used. I run a 24psi actuator and it still needs almost 90% duty to reach 30psi.

I didnt say that there was anything wrong with it.

I am asking if there is a way to make it hold more boost as with my new
set up i need around 30psi and this boost controller is at the max with at 25 psi (just fitted a msd chip siemens 55lb injectors -31actuator)

Yes, read my reply again.

FIT A BETTER ACTUATOR.

A -31 Actuator isn't enough for 30psi IMO. You need a -34 at least.

i had the profec B spec on my Escort with a -34 actuator on a T4

I had almost no preload on the the actuator arm, just enough so that it held the waste gate shut .
I could hold on low boost setting 18psi and on high i could hold whatever i wanted (never tried over 32 mind
So hight boost i ran 30psi. I had the early profec type at one point and i could never get it to work right
