beware
reading a number of posts on this site recently I have noticed quite a bit of dangerous advice being given to peoples queries and problems.I have corrected a few of these.

if i were to "advise" you to put a trolley jack under the car, lift it up and then put axle stands underneath before totaly removing the road wheels, how many peole wuold know wehre to put the jack and wehre to put the axle stand safely?
most people make the assumption that you will know what you are doing ebfore you attempt to do it, so if you put the jack through the sump and the axle stand through the floor, you'll have no one to blame but yourself
ok, it's all theoretical but thats why people should ask questions first rather than ask questions like "i've put a hole in the floor, how do i glue it back together again"

Agree with tony.
From PF traders too.
I find the UK sooo funny, anyone can set up a company making out they specialists in stuff even if they started last week and have NO knowlege of the stuff in question, but rather than looking for proof, people just take their word for it, even though to anyone with any real knowlege is blatantly obvious they havent a clue what they on about
Not just Fords, UK tuning as a whole, even some real big (non ford) names.
Mapping is generally the worst, but all aspects, turbos, etc etc, ive seen.
Fuck that, unless id seen proof of previous work that was clearly better than proven work by others, fuck that.

after reading 5 pages of it, i can understand a bit about what's going on mike, but perhaps to the uninitiated (like me before) too many conflicting "advisors" might have them questioning what they were doing on their own cars
just because somethng works for you, because you know how it works, it may not be the same for soemoen else who doesn't axactly wknow what they aer doing, for example, you know a bit about suspension, but if soemone didn't and tried to fit your shims and got it wrong and trached their motor, who would be to blame, the peole on the internet who told them how to put them in or the person who did the actual spannering or the perosn who read the stuff on th internet and then told someone esle hwo to spanner it and theyir spannering, while being right, was the wrongsort of spannering?
it's bit of a minefiel which i why i said that all sorts of questions should be asked "before" the spannering takes palce, a sort of disclimer in effect that anythin you read on pf is the way or views ot he poster rather than gospel according to st joe of bloogs
