Default Saphire Cosworth Question

Quick question this link is from another forum, the guy is selling a "genuine automatic" saphire cosworth, just wondered if anyone knew more about it etc, how many were made and stuff like that, never seen one myself before, just curious

Yes....there was definately at least one built, as it's pictured in one of the Cosworth Books....... Can't remember which book it was.....Soft Back Cover, Light blue in colour, and I seem to remember that this is the actual car !!! Colour & "F" plate are both correct. (Unfortunately not at home at the moment to check). Sure looks like the car I remember though.

fooking hell

might be a bargain if its the ONLY auto cossie from factory

might be worth something to a collector, or similar, but not a massive market for auto rs
