sold loads of cars on there, my golf sold within 2 days and hopefully buying a beemer off of there tonight!!!

 

I've listed a couple of cars on there as it is free, but i've always had much more interest via eBay

 

I sold my RSt on there, went with in a week,

some tips for selling tho,

Draft up a for sale ad in word first, then chop and change the ad till you are happy, Spell check it, the paste into piston heads ad.
Tell all the good points and bad points, dont do a brief ad saying (ring for full spec) as that puts people off.

Take a lot of pics, including engine bay and inside. But make sure the cars clean and tidy before taking pics (unlike most cars on ebay )

and if you can, get some arty shots of it with a good back ground, good pics will help it sell. everyone who came to see my car, said the pics i put up made it look the best looking RST for sale at the time, and there was concours RST`s for sale. Its all about how good the pics are.

Just use photo bucket and put the images in your advert

 

Put a good technical Spec up, and as much information as you can. And some GOOD pictures not only of the outside, but also engine bay, underside suspension etc. This is an enthusiasts site, so prospective buyers are looking for more than the average Auto Trader Ad.
