Dave - I met you at AVA last monday when you were getting it mapped. V sorry to hear about what happened with the car as i was hoping you would get on well at TOTB etc after going through an afternoon of torture on the rollers

Well done on your results and achievements with the car but gutted to see it like that. At least you are not more seriously hurt and

Was there with simon from sitech racing,car only finnshed on the saturday morning,drove down from scotland,not trailered,had head gasket issues,but that woud be something to do with the 170 mph runs on the a1 coming down,engine now out of car,for another make over,watch this space

I'm tempted with another Almera GTi, and swap over all the bits.

Add a GT35 and some bigger injectors to compensate for the extra weight...LOL!

Micra is such a weight advantage though, that I reckon you will always kick yourself for not going that route again if you go for an almera

Seems that the magazine feature is a jinx to me.

I had photos taken with the Almera and the next week it melted the pistons while on the dyno, and then this happens to the Micra.

Either that or just fate fu**ing with me!!!
