poor dogies

how can people abuse animals?

how comes its only staffs that you rescue? are these dogs falling into wrong hands more than other breeds?

my staff passed away last year (made it to 12 years bess him) and it still upsets me to this day to think about it, we had him cremated (sp?) and scattered his ashes at his favourite walking place near the river, at the time we heard about the rainbow bridge and it was nice to think of it that way. We are in a position to get another dog now but my partner wants a bulldog, id like a staff to come at the same time but it would need to be friendly around other dogs and im not sure if a rescue staff would fit that? It would have to be young I should imagine? I know staffs inside out and love the breed so much. As a charity I presume you accept donations? Put up the details pal if you would.

You would be best contacting Bob Whittle for more details how he works it is its £100 towards the Staffie rescue when you adopt a dog

His contact details are: bob@sbtrescue.org.uk or phone: 01229 465 791

He organizes home checks for people who wish to take on a rescue Staffie, but this doesn’t mean he sends someone to go through your home with a fine tooth comb like some think its just to check out that the place is secure for the Staffie and that the owners are ok

The NSBTR has members all over the country and parts of the world aswell so you shouldnt have any problems getting a stafford from these the thing is that you may have to travel to the lakes to see the dog as thats where Bob is based

absolutely great dogs! whenever anyone says they are thinking of a staffie i always tell them to get in touch with the rescue, thats where i got sasha from (the little one in the pics) had her from 9 months old, and buster was 9 months when i got him needing rehomed i found him in an ad in a local paper

heres buster a little confused trying to mount another dog the looks on their faces is classic....sasha looks like shes telling it to stand still

they are brilliant dogs to own providing they are with the right owner

My staffie is now 6 year old and he is brilliant

This is also him on the left with 3 rescue staffies that all have loving homes dont ask how we managed to get that pic tho as it was just pure luck

He loves water but hates rain

Loving the humping dogs...

They look so amused, and the dog watching just looks disgusted....lol

I'd love to take one on, though I live alone so it would be on its own for large parts of the day, plus if I go out at night at weekends! So I'm guessing thats not ideal for the dog!

One to remember for the future for sure though...

Sadly not ideal at least you have the intelligence to realize this unlike some that lock them up day and night

They all have their own characters and most of us treat them like kids and not dogs at times
