Default suspension help non ford

My little bro's best mate has bought himself a saxo vtr, and has asked Lee to fit it for him

how hard are they to do with it being a torsion bar?

there are instructions but might as well be talking swahili

Are they pretty straightforward? Anyone give us any tips?

The rears are actually pretty easy!

About 40 minutes and job done. Fronts are a pain in the arse though...

Count the splines mate.

2 splines is 40mm, 3 is 60mm etc etc.

After you've done it you'll realise it's really a piece of piss!

The fronts are a different story

The strut IS the hib etc. I found it easier to compress the spring in situ and then drop the whole front assembly down and then get the new lowered spring on with everything still bolted up.. Except the top mount of course.
