ive got the HSS catalouge in front of me (sad i know but im stores manager for a big oil service co) and they dont list a m7 x .9 only a m7 x1

ive checked the 3 main suppliers we use for tooling and none have that size im afraid

seems a very odd size its not an imperial is it? ive seen some odd imperial sizes get mixed up with metric before

thats unusual size, what is it on?
are you sure that its not an imperial size?
have you checked what the TPI is? it might match a more common size.

7mm is very close to 9/32 inch, either one is an oddball when it comes to threads. What's it for ?

as an alternitive, you could get a machine shop to thread turn it for you, most cnc lathes will be able to do a .9 pitch if required
