Default Plugs for a Series 1

Hi Peeps, i went to get plugs for my S1 today, so the bloke looked in the book and said oh..... thats a special plug that is i will have to order it, this was for champion plugs, the book had an Alternate plug listed, but he said the one he's ordering are the proper ones. Is he on the right track?

S1 currently has Ford Motorcraft ones in it.

Cheers Peeps

Regards Mikey

Defo not a fan of PP8's.

Depending on the boost - NGK 8's are PERFECT upto 14psi - i had them at 17 without a problem.

the best by far are 701c's - but u'll be hard pushed to find them. 071's are a good bet, will stand upto a hammering, but need changing quite often - the nature of the electrode design is quite fragile and they suceptable to fatigue
