Got charged twice at Wilkinsons...what to do?

Default Got charged twice at Wilkinsons...what to do?

As above really not a major amount just had two payments showing on my bank statement, exactly the same amount

now I cant find my receipt, who do I contact shop or bank?

any help apreciated

(well at least until it appears on the statement)


However, If they are the same date & time/same amount exactly. Id approach your card company and see what they say. Sounds like a technical issue rather than a fraud one.

Thats nothing - the coonts have took £24.32 out my account 4 times

One after another!

Talk to the card issuer mate.

They will either tell you straight away that it's wrong, of go back to the retailer to find transaction slips.

If the retailer can' t find them (or can't be arsed) you get the money back.

If they are obviously for the same stuff then they'll also refund.

dont think of it as "not alot of money" think what they would do if you didnt pay them the ammount they would do everything they could to make you pay ,so you should do everything you can to get your mony back

if you have the proof on your bank statement thats a good start but you would need wilko`s to check their records to rectify the discrepancy, all businesses have to keep a record for all sales (for inland revenue purposes) for 5 years, just remember to be polite and remind them anyone can make a mistake, it goes a long way. hope this helps
