i checked 1 on a mates erst and it looked quite 
but it was vary close to the strut but hes got frst coilovers on the front and the wheel didnt hav a tyre on it,it had about 5mm gap between the wheel and strut which shouldnt be a problem but its just the tryes

i think i saw a pic of that s2,was it white with green bumper strips,looked very nice with the volvo rims,i hav alwys liked the mondeo ghia 18inch or st220 wheels but again 18s but did think about trying different hubs and that to see if anything would marry up to make things easier if anything ever had to be replaced,at least that way it would just be a case of getting oe parts

always thought he had focus rs wheel son it but lookig at that pic they deffo aint .sure there still 7.5x18 tho so think they should still fit

i had a set of 18" wheels on my s2 they where kahns but second hand ones from a focus originally, it ran on spax suspension & i never touched the arches & it hardley ever scuffed
