could anyone tell me where the cranke wire gets it power from on a 4wd cossie

as i havnt got mine theres no power there but i think i know why due to being in a xr4x4 but jus wondering where it comes from as i carnt seem to trace it

what ive done in the mean time is soldered a wire form the igntion switch to the crank wire which seems to work but would like to get it sorted permantly

any ideas please
