Default Folding seats down post.

Does anybody rememebr the topic on (I think) a cruise forum with the guy that was adament that folding your back seats down made your car faster?

REally want the link to it but can't find it for the life of me

Didn't it work out that by putting the seats down, the weight was distributed better.

Doesn't make any difference but this chump had some pseudo technical arguements as to why his arguement was correct

it was a nova/corsa driver wasnt it that had worked out that by folding down his rear seats it lowered the centre of gravity allowing for improved handling technically the theory would be correct but in reality it would make no noticable difference .

his theory was (part of anyway) that if you folded the seat down you increase the area on which the weight and force of the seat exerts, and therefore reduce the force and the effect on the cars handling

proper clueless moron and suprisingly, it was on a vauxhall forum
