TBH if I won the lotto, I'd have a 360 Modena but if I ever earn enough that I can pay out Ł35k I'll be having a 355 thank you very much!

How about the new 430 Scuderia?

100kg less than the standard 430 and with 510bhp.

i think 355's look dated having said that to contradict myself ive seen a yellow 355 in chelmsford with black wheels and black light surround on the back and that looked really hard

ffs i wrote such a long reply and it said the usual php error has occurred blah blah blah

anyways, the 308 sounds ace but is a bag of shit to drive, personally i'd choose the escos over any ferrari and thats nothing to do with me thinking one day i may be able to afford a escos it's just the ferrari's don't do anything for me.

i know the db7 is old tech but i'd rather have one of them myself.

Ultimatly it'd be a 911 but you're not a fan

Gareth - like has been said, if you are choosing it over buying a house then don't do it, but if you can afford a house with a garage for the F355 then what the bloody hell are you waiting for?

Plus - you'll get a fitter bird throwing the keys on the table at a swingers party compared to the Esc Cos

obviously the 355 is a bit slow compared to all the 800+bhp cossies on here these days but imo its a proper bit of kit

if you buy right (and i think you know the right people) i don’t think you will loose much when the time comes to sell

as many people have pointed out there are better/newer/older/more desirable models out there but even Porkie has to draw the line somewhere and decided not to go for the Bugatti

I know if I won the lottery it wouldn’t be at the top of my ‘must have’ list but if I thought I could afford one now I would probably go for it- having said that a house is still a better investment

i know you've been a big ferrari fan for many years so in the end it’s a decision that only you can make

ps can I have a ride in it if you get one

The ultimate Ferrari

http://ueba.net/hosted_pages/Pink-Sports-Car-20070718

Talking of cool cars... I got a MASSIVE shock last night. There is a guy over the road who is a MASSIVE Porsche fan. I was saying a few weeks ago about his new beautiful white 997 Turbo.... well he has just added a new Porsche to his collection.

A FOOKING CARRERA GT!

I have mixed emotions on this... I am pleased that I am going to see my ULTIMATE all time dream car alot and I am sure he will take me out in it too (I will make sure by threatening to harm his children if he doesn't )

BUT I AM FOOOOOKING GUTTED THAT ITS NOT MINE!!!

I will take some pics at weekend. Its SOOOOOOOOOO sexy

i guess so, dad won a 360 spider for a week once, and, in all fairness, i just thought it was a load of crap, it seemed badly built, and i hated the attention it got, people would walk up to it if you where in traffic and peer in through the window's at you, it went well though!

I really cant believe you're asking this question. The ford is an icon yeh, but up against a proper car(like an R33 GTR) it has the 4wd of Tractor.

Get the Ferrari man!

As nice as your EsCos is, I'd say go for it if you can afford and maintain it etc.

AFAIK, they're an awesome driver's car, look amazing, handle awesomely and go well too.

Remember, it's a Ferrari at the end of the day.

Live the dream................... Unless, the thing goes terribly wrong and costs you a small African debt. That's more of a nightmare.

always having daft ideas - love the F40 but slightly out of my price range but a spaceframed 328 clothed in proper F40 LM bodywork with a decent engine and running gear would be a nice alternative for less than 30k- slightly better than the TR7 based reps

The single seaters still gathering dust so the Ferrari projects not going to actually happen - but its always fun to dream.
