Its how the cooler holds up on long high speed runs that shows how its performing.

i agree.

i use my brakes in 3rd gear to get the ACT's higher than normal, then release the brakes and go thro to full speed.

This will show ACT's go 50oC+ and then the intercooler bringing the temp down, and then it will sastain (sp) a set ACT's.

On every car i do this, the results are always the same.

Mine runs 28-32 Dec.C Normally even when giving it beans. Never seen it above 40 Deg!

I've always said AH Intercoolers are the bollocks, yet they always get overlooked by 'prettier' rivals.

i think so, it did do better in the PF feature (even tho not really a good test.

the only real way of telling is a Proper/accurate test on 1 car.

i've got a new setup comin in 2 days, with alot better end tank design, and a newer designed core (same size).
My old one is 3 years old, and i designed the end tanks to fit the car, but this time i'm making the car fit the inter.

Hi Ian,

i have to admit, its not spit polish finish, but as you say it performs 100%, and still nice to look at.

I believe Alex was the first to get a 500 intercooler Right, and the rest just looked and followed.
how old your cooler?

Intercooler test needs to be done on a runway on a car running over 2 bar.
