saf bumper brackets

i know these are no avaible anymore
so was just wondering how to people go about fixing there bumpers on without using self tappers as i dont want to go that route if i dont have too
would these not be hard to fabricate up out of metal?
im no fabricator so havnt a clue on what to do for these
i just want a proper fixing and not self tappers
my mounts are ok, one ive fibrglassed back together where the insert came out with teh bolt the other has a crack in which ill do teh same unelss i can find some new ones or of someone can make metal ones up
any ideas

I assume you are talking front ones ?
On my sapphy it had the flat plates type fitting not the later little bracket.
I ground(filed) away a little of the top edge so I can just squeeze my fingers in there to hold a NUT on the outside of the triangular piece through which the bolt passes, then bolt straight through with a large penny washer under bolt head job done, nb have to take out captive insert first.
