i'd advise you go further down the coast for your days out, eg llandudno, conwy, anglesea, betws-y-coed, caernarfon etc.

there is also a few castles (denbigh/rhuddlan) and a water fall (dyserth) within a 15 minute drive of prestatyn if you fancy a day of less traveling.

watch out for some unmarked blue and maroon ford galaxys, and white also black volvos, especially on the a55 around colwyn bay. they have a field day in the summer. you wont find many gatsos though round here just loads for coppers swanning about in cars.

Well,

Weather was really nice considering how its been. Was well happy with where we stayed. Rhyl aint all that bad really, like most british resorts nowadays.. looks like its having some money spent....LMFAO at the rollercoasters at the top end though RICKETY Cant believe folk were on them...

Llandudno is really nice and clean Bangor, snowdon etc all ok. Didnt go up mountain railways sadly too busy...

Not a bad holiday for a British one though

glad you had a good time...

lmao at the rhyl rollercoasters... thats the scariest ride i have ever been on. i've lived round here for over 25yrs and only had the bottle to do it once, and that was after 10 pints and a dare. i stared death in the face that day.

I Really cant believe its still open....it looks closed down but then you seen people on there Shame really as the middle bit where sea aqarium is etc is quite nice, and the little pool for the kids. Beach aint bad either.
But you can see how it used to be a top resort thats gone into decline. It reminds me very much of Morecambe...
