Default Technical help with EFI conversion please

On my 88 s2, i have fitted full EFI XR3I wiring loom to mate up to a fiesta OFAB ECU. Everything in place and powered up but i have no output to injectors from ecu or trigger to coilpack. I have swapped the pins on ecu and snipped no2 pin on ign amp as stated on the rs bible website. The ecu is getting too hot whilst ign is on, it is getting hot on one of the trigger units and i dont know why this is happening. It gets hot even wwhen i disconect everything in the engine bay, if i disconect the engine control relay it cools down and according to my wiring diagram the wires go to ecu via emmisions ventilation switch which would be operated by the ecu. But i didnt realise a 1990 efi xr3i had a ventilation system pretty sure my auto data wiring diagram is wrong .
Everything seems to be in place and the ecu is powered up along with injectors etc. I have a pulse from crank sensor.

Any help is appreciated
