im thinking about fitting a quaife atb diff in my car, but just wandering if it would put any other stresses on the rest of the gearbox, shafts, and cv's, thanks alastair
I can't imagine it would be a problem tbh
What car is it ?
Obviously when engaged (which it is only when loaded up) you are putting equal stress on the shafts and cv's but I never had a problem with the one in my nova and tbh I don't know of anyone who has had either.
Well worth the money IMO and if it is a fwd car then probably the best thing money can buy

A little but you do get used to it. You will find it much much tighter in the bends.
Obviously as mine had lead weight over thr front wheels it had a tendancy to plough straight on in the corners if entered too quickly.
The ATB transformed it, as long as your on the power it will get round nearly any corner giving maximum grip, if your off the power then it does get a little loose.
You wont take long to adjust to it and you will soon find nicer lines through corners
