Default Won track car of the day a Combe :-) Any pictures?.....

Was happy to get the trophy for 'best track car' at Combe for the Escort (won it years ago for my old Escort & the Sierra) Does anyone have some good pics of the Escort or the Rover?? I don't have many of the Rover....

Nice to meet some old faces and some new ones too

Good to see a Ford win - well done Martin.

Was amusing to see your car "shake it's head" as you put the power down coming out of Camp onto the run down to Quarry! Guess the front diff has a lot of power to contend with

Well done Martin, it was a cracking day, we were on track with your rover and it was quick, could see you gaining every lap, we were please to have a good tussle with the rover metro VVC, it took us 6 laps before we caught it and passed it.

Nice to chat to you and loved all the reyland cars, we did say that a TT lump is needed in our old Maestro now

Well done Martin,

The Escort seemed to just get better and better throughout the day.!!
Does anynoe happen to know what the blue VW Golf was running under the bonnet.? That thing was seriously quick at times, and my mate and I were too slow in catching up with him to find out.?

Cheers

I'll post them as soon as I get the chance.

We timed one of your laps(not sure if it was your quickest of day)
at 1min 16.34 which is quick around Combe.

Was I who brought you trophy over Dave J. and was well deserved.

Cheers to all who attended.
