Anyone know much about them?
Going to look at one tomorrow as a runaround and main car for when I get the Cossie fixed.
I was thinking along the lines of a suspension kit and 17" Vitesse wheels.

Are there any cheap mods that can be done to them?
Cheers chaps.

my mate on here had one "stembo21" and it seemed like a good car for little money, seemed fairly quick too.

I had the 820 turbo vittesse lux, to be fair it was a quick old badge and had every extra for peanuts, plus I sold it 6 months on and lost 50 quid
and at 21 yrs old at the time, 550 quid fully comp insurance was a winner
Living in petrol stations wasn't

My top tip - AVOID LOL
all joking aside, dont pay alot for it as they're pretty worthless.
mine handled worse than my Rover 800 Vitesse sport. the back end is known to break away if pushed. lowering can help, but they have a top rear arm setup.
the seats are crap in the Ti as well - the recaro's in the 800 were soooooooooooooooooooo much nicer

gearboxes are weak - they have plastic bearing cages and wear. It its really whiney, then the box is on its way out.
they have a clutch cylinder and arent cable operated. if the pedal goes down and doesnt come up much, or the bite point is very low, its got a leak / knackered.
the electric windows break often.
gaskets leak oil for fun.
what year is it? later ones had a metal head gasket.
you can get a blanking plate (i have one - not a sale add) for the dump valve on the turbo, fit a cone filter (room is sparse though!) and you get chatter.
cant really turn up the boost as the pistons melt very easily. chips only remove the boost limit as well.
the front discs are part of the hub, so they're expensive to replace.
other than that, a decent car and if bought cheap, very worth while.
