Van or not a van. That is the question.
Havin a bit of a clear out this week and thought I would do a few waste tip runs in the trusy daily runner and trailer. Its a escort estate with the rear windows blacked out with white spray ( didnt have black spray in my garage at the time) Went twice yesterday and once early on today. went for the second time today and the guy on the gate said I need to apply for a permit as I have a van. I told him its not a van its a car. He opened the drivers side rear door to look in and was greated by some rear seats and camping gear. No rubbish was inside the car, it was all in the trailer. He let me in this time but said i need a permit . I dont think I do and still have loads of shitto move. How do I stand on this one.

it's a car
end of
but, with a trailer they should make you go over the wieghbridge
and you should also get some proof that you live in the area such as a bill with the address on so you can proove that it's not commerical waste and that you are using your local waste site
been to loads of tips and i go most sundays so the guy at the gate knows who i am and gives me loads of info

Its only a small 5ft trailer and I live local. The car is also white and I use it to haul my mountain bike and clobber around so I dont want people to see inside when I have my bike in it. The car was cheap as chips so I just sprayed the inside of the windows.
