Default FAO Snowboarding nutters! Where to go?

I'm looking at sorting out a lads snowboarding holiday later on this year.... but I aint a fuggin clue where to go. All I can think of is Austria!!

Ideal place would be somewhere with a totally mad night life plenty of all night clubs playing some dirty dance music and I don't really need to say decent skiing too. Somewhere within the confines of europe... might consider russia. Preferably not anywhere to expensive, but will consider all options!

We're off to Kaprun in a couple of weeks, so I'll let you know.

Boarding at 3000m.

where gareth said

best time, pot luck, allthough id avoid scholl holidays, thats UK and europe ones!

when feb last year, pukka conditions allweek, over 1M of snow, this year went feb, 10coms of snow still had a good time tho, just a bit more drinking than skiing / boarding

costs, very roughly

£300 flight / hotel
£150 skis / lift pass
£400 food and drink ( me and the misses )

before you go, from £100 to what ever you want, on jacket / trousers / googles / gloves / thermals / socks etc

St Anton in Austria.

The place is nutts, full of crazy up for it boarders/ski-iers with decent locals & folks doing the season.
Its well known for being a party town, boarding & skiing is excellent too.

I can think of few French resorts that even come close by comparison.

Kaprun rocks I've loads of good memories of HUGE powder days there. Zell am See makes for a good fun night out.

Have fun
