If you had to P/X your Cossie for an MPV, which one would you go for. I've looked at a few and only the Zafira GSI really appeals to me!
What MPVs do peeps on here drive?

Or you could keep the Cossie and buy a cheaper second hand MPV. There are loads out there. My uncle got a Peugeot thing and didn't pay daft cash for it (although he won't actually say what he paid). Been good as gold so far.

That is the Cossie powered Galaxy. Saw it at a show a few years bakc, but it didn't appeal to me as I though we'd stop at two kids!
Oranoco.....The only problem is the Cossie is a little tired and I've had to have the boost turned down which means I would need a rebuild soon. That means forking out for a rebuild and an MPV!

Yes Jim. 198bhp? Apparently with a remap and some other bits, you could get 250bhp.
O, Galaxys just don't do it for me. Not sure whether there are nice bodykits for them. With the GSi, alloys etc comes as standard.

How come you need 7 seats if you have 2 kids & one on the way, you & your wife = 5 ?
We recently had another baby & i had to get a bigger car but i still wanted performance combined with lots of room & safety, bought a Volvo 850 T5R estate 240bhp as standard & volvotuning.com do a stage 1 remap to 304bhp. 17 inch alloys as standard & handles really well. They've also got a child booster seat that pops out in the middle of the back seat that is a standard feature. It really is a fun car to drive, luckily iv'e still managed to keeo my 3dr cos aswell

Peter,
The VW is great, but the GSI is cheaper !
Simon,
Just wanted a bit more flexibility and something newer. 20,000miles service intervals compared to 6000 miles...No contest mate!

I had a 7 seater Ford Windstar a couple of years ago
was a year old and a great motor, only thing was it was soooooo boring after a year with all that cruise control ,air con ,auto box, traction control ,94 litre tank
never went wrong
thig is you think your doing the family a favour and then you find out half the time your runnning around with only 3 or 4 people in it
I got so board infact ,i sold it bought the 3 door and a scorpio estate to shot the kids in

RH, Thats why I'm going for the ZAfira. Its a 5-seater most days with 7 when needed. At least you get to keep your Cossie.
Dave, I've probably be picking your brains at a later date.
Hopefully the manufacturers warranty will sort out any probs with the water pump.
You must post some pics up Marco when its all finished!
