Default Watch out- Ebay scammer again!!

I have bid on 2 sets of these top mounts so far

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...7801&rd=1&rd=1,

and each time I have been outbid in the closing stages, and BOTH times I have been offered a second chance offer only hours after the auction end come on mate, if you are going to bump the bids up by using your mates, at least don't make it so fucking obvious you plank

Cosworth Rallyesport, cheap and weak in comparism to what other alternatives??

bearing in mind this is for road use and ocasional trackdays oposed to what you would have been using during rallying Tim.

i know several people that are using these with no issues what-so-ever

Maybe he's got a few pairs and offering second chance offers to a few others on the same bidding list, so he doesnt have to re-list? Im pretty sure thats not actually outside ebay rules.

in comparison to the proper for 909 ones these are copies of,the ford ones are ten times the quality, and no i currently dont have any for sale as these are the first things to go when i break a decent car.

i didnt expect you to compare them to 909 parts, i was going to say other than that.

obviously 909 parts arnt readily available off the shelf.

Brom - have you got any pics to highlight the differences in the ones you have over the ones ive pictured.

if the general consensus is that mine are that bad then i wont fit them

909 parts are very readily available,if you look on the right shelves,

why not compare them?afterall thats what they are copies of,so why not just use the genuine ford ones?

I doubt he will do that... it means paying Ł116.33 compared with the Ł60 he expects me to accept from him!

Ahh someone with a bit of common sense... It makes a wonderful change because I swear I normally just attract stupid people.

The funny thing is RWD_cossie_wil knows the reason why I offered a him a second chance offer as I explained when I replied to his sarcastic message on eBay offering me Ł60. As it didn't sink in the first time I'll try again:

I make them, as such I have an infinite number of them available, I just machine them to order. Someone bids over a specific amount which is acceptable I`ll offer them a second chance offer, this is the way eBay works. I do it with more or less all the items I have for sale.

The person who outbid RWD_cossie_wil on the first auction was:

RS500Motorsport - some bloke in Belgium.

In fact there was two people who actually outbid him as can be seen below:

The second time you got outbid:

"dwarfspeed" .. fair enough, potentially more dodgy as he has 0 feedback but he bid three times before you ... all amounts that I wouldn't be happy with .. i.e below Ł60ish (the amount you offered) or below .. hardly what a shill bider does is it?

LOL, they are even at a buy it now listing (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=190128178323) which was started an hour before the auction you bid on finished ... hence I obviously have more than one pair available.

Seriously, if I'm apparently so in to shill bidding why would I let both these items go for 1 single penny? - it costs me more than that to make them.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=190117155147
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=190127388352

RWD_cossie_wil: I Think you just need to accept that in all likelihood you aren't going to get them for Ł60, there are simply other people who are willing to pay more than you. It's life, get over it

Honesty I would expect a little more from a bloke than throwing a tantrum ... that's female behaviour. You honestly need to stop being such a baby and get a fooking grip.

i didnt want to compare them as didnt think they were readily available.

i wanted a comparism to something that 'i' could have easy access to buying.

ill gladly use genuine 909 top mounts if you tell me where a set is - if they are as easy to come accross as you say

if you look at the bearing it will be dark grey normally black and if you look close they have a split in the casing they simply open the outershell and ping the ball into it very poor design !!!!!
i may be wrong and they changed there design but i have has customers bring me them and i seen how bad they are reason my type are more expensive is due to the bearings costing around Ł40 each
if you pm the dimentoins i may be able to get you some proper bearings to fit in

well, I'm adult enough to admit I might be wrong, but it happens so often on Ebay it just becomes a matter of course....
