Default just had a pretty good insurance quote

As my insurance is up on the Cossie i have been looking for quotes, Boncaster have quoted my £408 renewal which isnt to bad, but i got a quote with a company called Norton ( i used them once before for my RST), fully comp on the cossie limited to 3k per yera miles with ttrack day cover , they cam eback with a quote of £295 all in, which is fooking superb, spoke to boncaster and they have matched it as well so gotta decide which to use now, but if you need a quote check them out

Don't forget Boncaster only covers you for RSOC trackdays ie Nat Day, Croft and Coombe.

What really annoys me is its a RS with RSOC recognised insurance and imo you should get the best price 1st time not have to ring around then ring them back !!!!!

just clicked on the quote link above and in the criteria it says you must have no convictions or claims in last 5 years?

My claim was just over 4 years ago now. Might try calling them as i need to insure the cos v soon.

How would they know what the best price was though?
What they have done is great customer service to me, they could have said go elsewhere then, but they didn't and matched another companies price (which they could never have known previously so couldn't have offered ) losing premium in doing so.
Remember insurance companies are in the game to make money, if they can sell a more expensive policy they will, buyer beware
