Jim is right at the mo, but hopefully once the car is setup the boost will be better at the mo it feels little more than 300bhp and very laggy

Bal, what is the current spec of the car, as looking at your sig, it shouldn't feel slow at all imo?? Not seen all of your other posts, but a proper setup HAS to be the starting point, as somat doesn't seem right.

Bill, with his spec the car is meant to be around 350bhp but tbh it feels very sluggish and laggy, only boosting 18-19 psi and comes in very very late around 4000rpm and throwing out alot of greyish smoke on overrun

Oil is blue, agree with Gus. Could be sensor related, or MAP / pipe etc. and would certainly expect it to be running more boost than that, but the checkup/setup has to be first on the cards - I'm sure he'll be much happier once it's running as it should be.

trust me not ALL of that smoke is fuel (some of it is tho)
i dont think that 8x 1000cc injectors all flat out could produce THAT much shit out of the exhaust
and gus 1) i say he dont need air/air because he dont need air/air you can get the same effect (albeit not mapped in) from an amal valve correctly jetted
2) i say he wont be happy with the lag still becasue i know that ginge thinks a T3 powered car is too laggy let alone a T34 .63.. lol
he shoulda bout himself a rouse or a small turbo esccos :P

gus, ask stu then, of course you can get an amal valve to spike the boost.
you can even use it with the proper boost map thing on P8 and stuff straight out the box, its just a setting to switch between air/air and amal... lol
am amal valve's just a back to front air injector, and 90% of the aftermarket "boost controllers" use similar technology

I get a nice spike from my P8 & Lektron valve, don't really want to agree with Jimbo , but don't think bal needs air2air yet.....
Just get it in for a checkup/setup, then your worrying will be over, or just starting........

pops when i give it some and then back off, soon as i touch the throttle i can see smoke out the back window, its a puf and gone, only when i come on boost too, if i dont touch the throttle i cant see the smoke till i touch it ( as in hard or soft)
