Default simple question but how do u..................

if your engine was rebuilt before your brought it and u did not ask what compression ratio is.is there anyway of workin out what ths is without pulling the engine apart????

Would a compression test not allow you to work it out somehow?

No, a compression test and compression ratio are two different things.

Didnt know if the amount of compression measured could be used to calculate it somehow.
