No, this is the norm for getting photos . The Germans always do that, I have bought a few in the past.
You forget how much it would cost to get a really good one of your car .
If you realised the effort Phil went to over the weekend at the expense of reduced track time, then you would be OFFERING and not having to be told .

In all fairness the pictures of Rene's car aren't that amazing (sorry mate)..
So I have mailed them to you (well it's in the process of sending..) and you can make a moral decision that may haunt you for the rest of your life

damn good pics phil
there's a guy over here that goes regulalrly to track days at the ring, or hockenheim or wherever, gp's and stuff and does a similar thing. you might be interested in his website www.sportfoto-trescher.de
there's a few of me at hockenheim in there somewhere in a silver elise

Rene, bounced AGAIN! The price doubles each time I have to send the bloody mail
ForeigneRS: Serious question here (to everyone actually) do you prefer pictures like that, or with some more motion in??? My camera has an easy as pie Sports mode which I can fire off and get every picture perfect, but they look like the above (silver Elise) with no motion in them (i.e. wheels frozen still etc)
Or the way I try and do most of mine with some motion in there but its 50/50 whether the picture turns out!
Just curious as maybe I have a different idea to everyone else and I should be spending my time getting 100% perfect shots instead of trying to go fancy

I like the non-frozen shots Phil. It gives a greater sense of speed. THe pictures of the elise could have been done staionary with a jack on one side!

Phil - Absolutely AWESOME pics mate, good job.
I would be interested in all of em in high res format on a disc or something, I'll pay of course, when you get time.
Excellent work!
And a pic of 'my bird' would've been appreciated actually, I still can't stop thinking about her, would've been nice to have something to remember her by untill next time!

got a bit too giddy and came off sideways, jsut hit the kurb and scuffed two wheels. Was proper lucky, thought I was gonna tip it over. Front shock maybe bent but nothing serious. Only me to blame though

Nice pics!
Now then now then, I heard this little rumour that one of the white Sierra Cosworths spun in the Hatzenbach series whilst trying to chase down a nifty little blue M3, just after we'd gone past it

Yep, we werent hanging about. Not as quick as in my last cars though.
I dont do the 'ring without a helmet, too many oportunities for serious injury should the shit hit the fan, a chat the night before with the doctor first on the scene to the crash that closed the track sat evening reinforced this opinion.
