yes they do have the imobiliser. In order to get the new key programmed you will need the red master key! If not, its a trip to fords so hey can re-program the system
Shop around for the keys as I got quotes from Ł45 to Ł130 for the RED KEY + SPARE BLACK KEY to be supplied/programmed(inc red) and old keys deleted.
I only had a black key as car was repo.
