You can pick up a clio williams for about £2k for a decentish one and its power to weight ratio should be better than the 172 cup with 150bhp as standard and you can pick one up a really decent one for 3-4k that might have a few mods done to it should be a real rocket!
If not try the RX-7 like I suggested. £6-7k will get you a very nice one at that and something that looks the bollocks and goes like absolute STINK!

Looks and straightline speed being the two most important aspects of a ring car of course, all that "brakes" and "handling" nonsense people talk about isnt important really

Not got time to watch the vid but thats not shy really is it.
Still think the Clio or ITR as mentioned are by far the best car for it, reliable and you would have to be a complete noob to crash one

forget it then
Actually, what would be wrong with the williams anyway as a ring car? I've been in one before and it certainly wasnt a fuckin bus goin through bends!
I dont know about the RX7 though but thats just my 2p worth. Just cos I've had my licence for about 3 months doesnt mean I'm not entitled to my own opinion however wrong it may be but I don't pretend I know everything either, far from it!

FLIP 2K3 : You could well be correct, but this one does have the Phase 2 Subframe and suspension fitted, so your in with a fighting chance.
But I do know what you mean, but these little beasts really fascinate me......

What about a Ek9 Civic Type-R. It would rape a Clio 182 Cup. More exclusivity than a DC2 Integra.

Pretty much the same power to weight ratio but it has double wishbone suspension and an LSD as standard. I really don't think it'd loose out to a clio sport.

More exclusivity?
Is that what you want whilst trying to source parts at short notice in a country where you dont speak the language and you are pretty much in the arse end of nowhere in the middle of the countryside then?
Some people have got NO idea
