Default 3-door tyres??

i know this has been covered before but i bought

225/45/17,for the rear of my car as told someone else ran them, but they were a nightmare and scrubed

well im raising the suspension on coilovers hopefully by next week and am getting new rears again, even although ive just spent £150 on the other tyres

i dont want same problems so.............................

205,215 are out 225 is out due not being able to get 40`s so the question is

anyone useing 235`son a 3-door???? have to be 40`s though

and what arch trimming was involved?

Toff was running 234/40/17 at one point with Compomotive MO's ET40.

Unsure if he's still got 235's on and unsure what, if any mods needed doing.

Col i am running 235/40/17 7.5' rim ET37. Thats on a saph with Konis and i dont have any rubbing unless i am 4 up and go over a BIG bump.

Aslong as you have the right offset you should be fine. I thought there was more room under a 3dr's archs aswell?

there is more room as a rule if you mod them i think mate, but out the factory the saph takes wider i think

im running 245/40-17 f1 eagles on a 9j wheel with a et15 offset on the rear of my 3dr cossie.....its also on coilovers. It does currently rub a little bit, so some arch trimming is going to be needed but i dont mind as the handling and looks is worth the payoff imo
