The engine was mostly built by Jon Edwards from JEMS in the greek one,this is allmost the very same spec.

Sean was put off by transmission as well. I seem to remember that 130mph is about the limit due to the diffs that are available or something??

might not be as good for rallying but id rather have a good strong skyline box and and not have it cost me 30k when it went wrong and it would also be better top end

Those boses iirc are bloody expensive so I can see your point on the skyline box being a more sensible choice but I'm not 100% convinced that it would be as touch as the xtrac ffd stuff as it is built for the ultimate abuse.

I would of also thought its just the diff ratios that give it the short gearing too, no doubt IF they changed them then they would have a great top speed.

I can see painting it over so people know it's not Stian's anymore but that colour is just awful unless he's going to sticker it up and throw in some different colours ala Reyland Escos. Silver alone it looks cack. LOL

It ran on Gatebil @ Mantorp, Sweden some days ago..
From my understanding it is working superbly and will be set to take on Reyland @ Gatebil Rudskogen next weekend.

I saw a short video of it running over on Gatebil.no, I'll see if I can find it and put up the link.

The reyland cars will have less power but the same good handling and the reyland escort will have the bulletproof os giken gearbox i guess the same of beter handling better balance better.
Who will be quicker the gatebil escort of the reyland cars?
If i would bet any money on it would set my money on the reyland cars purly because what i said above and because the reyland crew will know their cars beter then leif will kown his new 920 hp wrc escort.
But of course i would be wrong.
