urgent pc question

Default urgent pc question

i wanna install a load of progs on my second pc drive, do i need to make a folder labelled "program files" then also make a folder for each program i wanna install

at the moment i try to install autoroute to the d program files folder but it doesnt make its own "autoroute" folder it just plonks all the random stuff in the program files folder

what am i doin wrong ?

if u are telling the program to install on D:, you dont need the program files directory,

but if u make ANY program got to different directory to which it self wants to install to you must select the whole new path.

if you just type d:\program files, then thats where it will install

to correct this you must type d:\program files\autoroute

Most programs will auto install to Programs folder on C: drive and create their own sub-folder - just do as you said above - create folder for your program on D:Programs and install into there.

cheers guys my c drive is rapidly filling up so ive un installed a load of progs and games and im putting them on there instead

will everything still work normally ?
