Default Anyone on here used www.postvan.com??

As title? I've used them quite a few times and they've always collected the next day after booking to deliver the day after that!

Problem is, i've had 2 emails from different people, one saying that his parcel has never turned up and the other saying the box had been ripped open and the contaents damaged so he refused to accept the parcel which is fair enough.

I have e mailed the couriers 4 days in a row asking them to contact me as i have not heard from them or had the damaged parcel returned, i have had no contact by phone or e mail whatsoever though

I have lookud on there website and there is no phone number or address to try and get a phone number from??

Anyone else had a problem or know a soultion??

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi Gadget,

I'm looking at opening a business account with them and have been trying to conatct them via email to arrange this and had no joy Seems odd that a business wouldn't want more business, don't think I'll bother if they can't be arsed to answer, could be a sign not to use them.

Try 0870 766 2293 it is for business users but may be able to get transfered to another department.

Also have you tried their callback service ? Mail your number to callback@postvan.com

I've used them twice.

First time was smooth as you like, they came round my house, picked up a set of alloys, and the next day they were at the destination.

2nd time they destroyed just about all of the 4 parcels I sent.

To the point there was shit missing.

I used to use senditquick.com, really handy as you can pay with paypal but they have just wacked their prices up 3 quid a parcel, not much except it used to be 10.99 that's a canny increase !!

Saying that I've used them loads and they have been great expet one time last week when they didn't pick up on the date apart from that they are great. can mail at 10pm and you still get a response quick as hell

far better to just go on ebay and type in parcel deliveries

loads of buy it nows for far less ŁŁŁŁ than postvan charge

Postvan only act as a middle man - they sub the work to a number of couriers just like the ebay sellers.

I've only ever contacted them for quotes on a delivery, after asking for the dimensions they never seem to get back to you! And I too noticed they dont have a contact telephone number!

Richie Russ comes highly reccomended by some on here but he stopped answering my PMs when I needed a delivery picking up

left me in a bit of shit but I managed to find a guy reasonably priced on ebay.

Absolutely useless I tried to use them to collect a bonnet and deliver to me. After failing to turn up to collect it I rang them to find out why but they couldnt give me an answer so I re-booked it but the same happened again. After re-booking it about 4 times i gave up and said i'll have a refund. They said no problem.....i got my refund after 10's of calls and about 4 months
