escort 1.8 gti tuning INFO pleses / more BHP ? /
HI everyone i have a escort gti
IT has the 2 ltr set up and it has bean super chipt with a re map its running 154 bhp
NOW THE QUESTION HA HA HA
I want to no if i bie a set of piper cams /vernia pullies get them fitted and get my ecu reprogramed
Do you think i will gain mutch BHP If yes how mutch bie
AND do you think i will get a increase in torqe same again will it make a diffrence

Too many posts.. I need a life!!
Im suprised you have the power you have with the standard inlet manifold. No point doing more until you bin the inlet as it is the most restrictive part of the engine. A 2.0 TBs will make 170 bhp with no other mods.

My bro's other half has a GTi running with Piper cams, chip, Magnex cat back system, PiperX cone filter and a larger throttle body and that has made 145bhp on a DynoDynamics rolling road

i have got a full system on and i aredy have the 2ltr TB
it has also got a k ,n filter k1 leads iridium plugs super chipt 2ltr cams tb maf censer
ecu re-map

best inlet for my escort gti
hi just reading threw some old post
a few peopel have said for me to get more
power out of mu engine i need change the inlet what is
the best 1 to get
and is it just a case of fitting the new inlet on and drive or do i have take it back threw dyno again

have been thinking of doing this but mony not so good at moment
can i just get a better inlet for my 1.8 gti i have all the 2ltr cams tb maf sencer and its been super chipt
but a member told me a was at my limet on air flow feed and need a difrent inlet but no one has said witch i can fit ?
