EIL132 - I had it on the old Evo 5 and it munched a turbo so have never had it since. I also will not fit it on a cutomers engine due to EGT.

Ranj Read the post properly, thats about the fact the 1/4mile times would be a lot better but as it was impossible to stop the car creeping forward ever so slightly it made the timing gear start, causing slower times
The 200+ was from a standing start if i remember right, that quote is about the 1/4mile runs.
You dont get a serious advantage from a rolling start thru the bottom corner anyhow as the speed youl be doing by time you straighten the car up on the straight is about the same as you get at that point from a standing start at the end of the runway

Steve, you can corner that bend at well over 50mph (don't forget you have the full width of the runway to straighten up), there is no way you could reach that from a standing start.

I am pretty sure Norris car did a rolling start round the corner. All Ronnie's speeds were from a standing start he was going to try a rolling start and said he would deffo go over 210mph but his spliter broke on his 205 run and he backed off before he needed to so wo knows what he might have got
