if so post a pic ive messured that the hight off the plate is 55mm and my gauges are 52mm so it will be tight to make i think

 

i have mate but i dont know how you put pictures up. I had to trim the lip out a bit to get them to fit but they look quite smart when there fitted. If i can figure out how to put pictures up i will

Agree with Dave on that one..

I had gauges in there when i brought the car and hated looking downwards

So covered it over with some cloth and a boot 'Cosworth' badge.. Looks quite smart imo

Have it high up where u can see it! Maybe on the piller or middle heater vents as said above!

 

shame i only need a 2 gauge one
i cant think of anymore gauge i need as i have 5 gauges plus 2 that i want to put in.

unless i get a transmition temp gauge

I had them in my old XR4X4. I made the plate out of aluminium sheet to hold three 52mm gauges and covered the plate in vinyl:

 

i have the sheet and its all cut too size but havent got a hole cutter 52mm

 

go down b and q tomorrow and buy a 52mm hole cutter

im in the same boat as i have 2 gauges i need to put somewhere

3 in heater vents
2 on a pillar pod
carnt put them where the clocks go as the secs monitor is going there

and i find the stereo place 2 low

 

i have 2 pods here that can be stuck ontop og dash but dont likew them to look at to be honest

 

mine is made from wrc carbon fibre. i changed the stereo and amp position around.

 

didint think they done 52mm hole cutters

 

not sure if they do or dont, mine was done with a 50mm cutter then 'filed' to make the gauges fit as tight as possible.
