Camera Q - How can I tell if my Camera will take diff Lenses

Default Camera Q - How can I tell if my Camera will take diff Lenses

It is a Olympud SP-510 UZ.

I got a feeling its a NO but not sure if there is a way I can tell.

Without breaking it I dont know. Which would suggest the answer to your question would be NO

I think normally only SLR cameras take different lenses. If it's a point and shoot then I very much doubt it.

All the accessories that are available for your camera. As I suspected, most digicams which don't have interchangeable lenses have conversion lenses you can fit on the end of the existing lens to increase their capabilities.

You are likely to loose a small amount of quality, although this may not be noticeable, and, it will be a little more challenging to take pictures in low light since the additional glass will absorbe more of the available light than the standard lens.

Hope this all makes sense

Now I don't know how much these accessories are, but before you spend ŁŁŁ's on them... think carefully about the future value of your purchases.

You might find that it is more cost effective and more future-proof to look into an entry level dSLR

Hi Frog. Thank you for the reply. I have another thread I have started. Its a dSLR I have been loocking at. Perhaps you'd cast your eye over it.
