Default oil cooler/heater

hi.. im running a 2wd saph cossie in Oz, just wondering whether removing the engine oil heating/cooling system and replacing it with an oil cooler would be of any benefit, because winter temp never drops below 4/5 degrees, but summer temp hit 40's, so would there be any benefit??

cheers

Depends entirely on what oil temps you are seeing. If these are always around 110°C (with the ever so occasional blip to 115-120°C), then it is fine as it is.

However, if it is ALWAYS at the higher temp, then yes an oil cooler would be recommended .
