that just means its a stage 3 chip

I have an MSD stage 3 chip I use on my car sometimes, Im forcing it to run 2 bar off boost in the midrange, and hold as much as the turbo (t34.48) can cope with doing at the top end.
Im positive that isnt what stu intended it for, but there is no Det at all and the fuelling is sensible all the way.

The closed loop ONLY works at low boost/throttle/rpm (depends on how its mapped the exact cutover points)
So it makes no difference particuarly what power you are running as it will be on only at (for example) 4psi or less at 80% throttle or less, at 5000rpm or less.
The moment you break any of the conditions that its set for, it goes back to the normal map.
(please note im not aware of the specific criteria on stu's this is just examples to show you the point)
