Default Looking for a 3rd line tech. support job or know someone ???

We are advertising for two technical support positions. It is a third line support role requiring skills in debugging, troubleshooting and coding.

Ideally you have working knowledge of one or more of the following languages/technologies in order of priority (first being highest):

Oracle PL/SQL
Oracle SQL
Java
Visual Basic
XSLT / XML

Customer facing, mainly on the phone, but sometimes on site.

The company you would be applying for is a leader in OSS for the telecommunications industry with customers in UK, mainland europe and asia-pac.

These customers are telecommunication organisations, ranging from national telecoms to smaller ISP operators.
In addition, we regularly work with leading hardware suppliers such as Alcatel Lucent, Cisco, Ericsson, Juniper to name but a few.

If this sounds interesting to you and you want to be part of a thought leading, dynamic, friendly and hard working team, PM me your email address and I'll send you a full job description, company details, etc...

The small print: We are based in Reading (berkshire) and being mainly an office based you will be expected to travel to reading daily to work normal office hours + the odd bit of extra time in evening morning as required by customers.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

I'd apply, but I'm afraid my experience doesn't stretch quite that far

Only trained (by me!) in girly Microsoft SQL, VB6 and vb.net.

Hope you find what you need
