I havent been able to log in for months at work and get kicked off all the time at home. I havent paid tho and it is far better moderated than most of the sites with good uptime, search functions etc

When people sign up to this forum, we aggreed to do our best to keep uptime to at least 90%. To my knowledge we have always managed that or around that. Which isnt too bad with the amount of traffic it takes.
We have expained to people allready that we have a plan in place to fix teh errors we know exist, such as the logging in problem and we will be doing our best to try out these new ideas just as soon as pet is able to. What more can we do? Pets current commitment is personal and cannot be changed, and IMO there is no rush for him to have to change it. I presume some people dissagree?
People who say this forum is offline all teh time need to sort out the problems they have at THEIR end. This site is NOT offline all teh time as some performance stats tracking software i have recently installed proves without a shodow of a doubt. This forum serves heavy traffic for well over 90% of every 24hr day. EVERY 24hr day.
Brom has even suggested you cant get on here ALL day and hevent been able to for at least 10 weeks. But it cant be a problem his end...
Paul @ NYRS spares says its 100% allways slow. But it cant be a problem his end...
If people refuse to look at their own PC's for these problems, i am getting a bit tired of saying the same old thing now. The fact is, the hundreds, in fact, thousands of people on this site EVERY DAY are perfectly happy and they are NOT finding the site slow for more than a few % of teh time, normally early evening. Yet nobody seems to think that information is in teh slightest bit relevant do they?

i said that from 6 at night to around 11.30 i carnt get on and if i do it take 10 mins to post most days am at hospital with tests n shit like that so most days i would not know what happends in the day

its been like that for over 10 weeks at least hence i dont bother normally logging on till late
To me it does not in any way suggest you cant even try until gone 6pm as your now saying. It Suggested to me that you cant get on in teh day at all hence you only try late. Hence my reply...

no dude when i mean late i mean after 12 ish i carnt get on from links to my email i have to click threw google search then it takes ages to load up most times the error comes up

My frustration is nobody ever seems to appreciate the fact that for over 90% of the time it IS perfectly fast and reliable. We will deal with the early evening issue just as soon as we can, but its not as straight forward as people would like to think, especially when you have memberships etc all embedded into one type of forum software, meaning we cant easily just jump to Vbull or somethign like that.
The problem is compounded by teh fact some ISP's obviously have routing issues to France during peak traffic, but whenever we try and get a list of problem ISP's people cant be bothered to help. In fact, generally speaking, peop;le in the UK can only EVER be bothered to moan and groan. Helping out is always completely out of teh question.
